Once a 1991 Leyland Olympian travelling London’s famous Route 555 and later a city tour bus, this iconic double-decker has been transformed into a unique glamping retreat in the heart of the Ox Mountains.
Many of the bus’s original features have been carefully preserved, including the driver’s seat and steering wheel, giving guests a nostalgic glimpse into its past life on London’s busy streets. Inside, the space has been thoughtfully redesigned to create a cosy and comfortable mountain escape while keeping the character that makes the Red Bus so special.
The lower deck features a welcoming living and dining area with a kitchenette that includes a sink, fridge, and cooking facilities. A breakfast bar is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The lounge seating converts into a king-size bed at night, while a TV and stove heater keep the space warm and relaxing throughout the seasons.
Upstairs, you will find a charming sleeping and bathroom area with a double bed, shower, and toilet. The upper deck also offers an open-top seating area where you can sit back, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and take in the views of the surrounding countryside.
Outside, a private decking terrace provides the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy a BBQ, relax with friends or family, and spend quiet evenings under star-filled skies surrounded by nature.
