The Story of Ox Mountain Glamping
Ox Mountain Glamping was created from a deep appreciation for nature, creativity, and the beauty of the Irish countryside. What began as a simple idea grew into a place where unique spaces and natural surroundings come together to offer something truly different.
Each accommodation has been carefully imagined and developed to provide guests with an experience that feels memorable, comfortable, and connected to the landscape of the Ox Mountains.
The goal has always been simple: create a welcoming place where visitors can slow down, disconnect from busy routines, and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature.
The Ox Mountain Glamping site is located approximately 8 miles from Tubbercurry. Our family-run business is nestled in the heart of the Ox Mountains, surrounded by peaceful countryside and natural beauty. Our location offers quiet, unspoilt access to one of Europe’s oldest mountain ranges and its remarkable natural wilderness.

How do I book a stay at Ox Mountain Glamping?
You can book directly through the website using the online booking system. Each accommodation has its own availability calendar where you can select dates, confirm your stay, and complete secure payment. Some accommodations may also be listed on Airbnb, but booking directly through the website guarantees the most accurate availability.
What types of accommodation are available?
Ox Mountain Glamping offers a range of unique stays including the Treehouse, Red Bus, Shepherd’s Hut, Hideaway Cabin, Ox Mountain Cottage, Ox Mountain Lodge, Moonlite Cruiser boat, and the Bunk ‘n’ Barn for groups. Each accommodation provides a different experience while staying close to nature.
How do I add a sauna or hot tub session to my stay?
Once your accommodation is booked, you can add a wellness session by reserving an available time slot. These sessions are scheduled separately from accommodation bookings.
Are the sauna and hot tub private sessions?
Yes. Both the Moonlit Sauna and the Spring Water Hot Tub are booked in private time slots so guests can relax and enjoy the experience without sharing the facility with others.
How much does the hot tub session cost?
Hot tub sessions are available as an add-on for €20 per person for a 60-minute private session. Pricing and availability are confirmed when selecting your booking time.
