We slept like babies each night. The beds were super comfortable and I have a bad back, but woke every morning without an ache or pain. The spa is like the fountain of youth, my skin is very thankful for the 2 spa nights. Dermot and Monica are the epitome of true Irish Hosts. Lovely and warm and will truly give you a thousand welcomes.. we will be back❤️

The stove was lit on arrival with plenty of turf to keep it going. It was nice to have the sheep and lambs for company and we seen all of the animals before we left. Genie the goat was my favourite I would have taken her home!
Views were spectacular we got a bit of sun and even with the mist in the mornings it was lovely.
Wrap up warm and bring your woolen socks especially if going for a hike, we did the route at lough Easkey which is 2 hours and there are some information leaflets available in the cottage with nearby walks which was great!
We popped over to Dromore West on the Friday night for some food and took a spin to Easkey, we then ventured into Tobercurry for some provisions for a picnic which is a short drive.
The cottage is in a great location, rural with no WiFi which was the best thing to switch off and relax. The little bottle of milk in the fridge was a nice touch as we had a cup of tea when we arrived.
Thank you to Dermot who gave us a tour on checkout as we met all the animals and Hunter the sheep dog. Looking forward to returning and staying in the hideaway which is almost complete.
Would really recommend staying here it has all you need for a peaceful retreat.

Monica and Dermot were brilliant hosts and Hunter the collie dog . The bus was spacious, clean and cosy. The stove is a lovely touch. The bus still has original features which adds to the quirkiness of this place. Regardless if it rained or shined the location is beautiful. We will be returning to the Ox mountains in the near future. Thanks again Amy, Jordan , Helen and Eoghan. 😊

Firstly the welcome was superb. Monica and Dermot were such gracious hosts and generous with their time. They showed the children the rabbettes, ducks and hens which was one of the highlights of the trip. We stayed on the Red Bus last week, July 2020. We had our neice and nephew aged 3 and 6 for one night. They absolutely had the best experience very excited to sleep on a bus. The bus was extremly well kitted out, spacious, clean and comfortable. It was warm and safe for children. Toilet, shower, kitchen, plenty hot water and a lovely stove. Exceptional renovation with many features intact. A unique and hospitable experience. Despite the wet weather we still had a great time. The location is truly amazing and scenic. Plenty of space to walk and enjoy.
We will be back again. Thank you. All very happy customers. Jennifer, Brendan, Cian and Saoirse 😊
